Dairy Market Feeders	Can tag up to 2. Can only show 1.	June 1, 2006	Must be tagged by Dairy Committee representative before June 10 (by appointment), or on June 10 at Dairy QA from 10:00-12:00 noon at HC Fairgrounds.	Dairy QA on Saturday, June 10 at Holmes County Fairgrounds 10:00-12:00 noon.* Dairy feeders not previously tagged must be tagged at the QA to be able to go to the fair. Market Hogs	Can tag up to 2. Can only show 1.	May 20	Must be tagged May 13 or May 20, 8:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. at HC Fairgrounds.	Swine QA on Saturday, March 18 at United Methodist Church of Millersburg, 5395 TR 336, Mlbg at 10:00 -12:00 noon.*	June 15, 1:00-5:00 June 19, 4:00-7:00 June 27, 1:00-5:00 July 1, 9:00-12:00**	Tuesday, July 25^th at West Holmes High School. Project Record book must be complete and brought to judging.	Must weigh between 220 and 285 lbs by weigh-in at the fair to compete for Grand Champion or Reserve Grand Champion. BARROWS ONLY.	No health papers required. However you must follow state guidelines. DUNF due at fair weigh-in.
Market Lambs	Can tag 2. Can only show 1.	May 20	Must be weighed and tagged on Saturday, May 20 from 9:00a.m.-11 a.m. at HC Fairgrounds. How-ever you must follow state guidelines. DUNF due at fair weigh-in.
Breeding Sheep	No limit.	June 1	Scrapie tag required for ewe lambs or out of state born wethers from flock of origin or a vet that has a client relationship with the exhibitor.	Not required.	June 15, 1:00-5:00 June 19, 4:00-7:00 June 27, 1:00-5:00 July 1, 9:00-2:00**	Tuesday, July 25^th at West Holmes High School. Project Record book must be complete and brought to judging.	Not a sale animal. Ewe lambs and out of state born wethers need (scrapie) tag from flock of origin or a vet that has a client relationship with the exhibitor.	Must have USDA approved scrapie tag. No health papers required. However you must follow state guidelines.

*Any Quality Assurance session may be attended to bring a market or lactating animal to the fair. See the dates and places of all the different species.
**Late Entries will be accepted by appointment only July 2-14 at the Extension Office for $50 late fee per animal.

Market Rabbits	Can only show 1 pen. Suggested breeding is 100 days before the show.	Own mother of fryers by May 1. Fryers age limit is 10 wks.	Must be tattooed for identification at the Rabbit Fun Show on Fri., July 21, 6:00 pm at the HC Fairgrounds. Breeding Rabbits	Only 1 entry per class.	June 1	Must be tattooed for identification at the Rabbit Fun Show on Fri. July 21, 6:00 p.m. at HC Fairgrounds.	Not required. Broilers	Can show 1 pen of three.	Broiler delivery date June 21	Weigh-in will be the Sunday before fair at 4:00-6:00 p.m.	Poultry QA is Thursday, March 2 at 6:30 p.m. at West Holmes High School Vo-Ag room.*	June 15, 1:00-5:00 June 19, 4:00-7:00 June 27, 1:00-5:00 July 1, 9:00-12:00**	Tuesday, July 25^th at West Holmes High School. Project Record book must be complete and brought to judging.	Three animals weighing a minimum of 3 lbs. per bird by weigh-in at the fair. A blood test will be required of broilers from premises that have other kinds of birds on them within 30 days of the fair (or follow current ODA guidelines if changes occur).	Pool birds are from a Pullorum-free hatchery. You must follow state guidelines. DUNF due at fair weigh-in.
Breeding Poultry	3 pairs per division.	June 1	Not required.	Not required.	June 15, 1:00-5:00 June 19, 4:00-7:00 June 27, 1:00-5:00 July 1, 9:00-12:00**	Tuesday, July 25^th at West Holmes High School. Project Record book must be complete and brought to judging.	Not a sale animal. A blood test will be required of the breeding poultry from premises that have other kinds of birds on them within 30 days of the fair (or follow current ODA guidelines if changes occur).	Certification from a Pullorum-free flock or negative test for Pullorum/Fowl Typhoid. You must follow state guidelines.
Turkey	Can only show 1.	Turkey delivery date March 28	Weigh-in will be the Sunday before fair at 4:00-6:00 p.m.	Poultry QA is Thursday, March 2 at 6:30 p.m. at West Holmes High School Vo-Ag room.*	June 15, 1:00-5:00 June 19, 4:00-7:00 June 27, 1:00-5:00 July 1, 9:00-12:00**	Tuesday, July 25^th at West Holmes High School. Project Record book must be complete and brought to judging.	Must weigh no less than 22 lbs by weigh-in at the fair. A blood test will be required of all turkeys within 30 days of the fair (or follow current ODA guidelines if changes occur).	Negative test for Pullorum/Fowl Typhoid. You must follow state guidelines. DUNF due at fair weigh-in.
Llamas/Alpacas	1 per class	June 1	Not required.	Photos, llama leases, and ILR registration numbers (if applicable) due at Extension Office June 1 by 4:30. Attendance at Llama Learn Day is mandatory on June 25 at 1:00 p.m. at home of Dr. Eric Shaver	June 15, 1:00-5:00 June 19, 4:00-7:00 June 27, 1:00-5:00 July 1, 9:00-12:00**	Tuesday, July 25^th at West Holmes High School. Project Record book must be complete and brought to judging.	Not a sale animal. Jr. Fair exhibitors must show their llama at one show prior to the fair to bring their llama to the fair. All project animals must be at least 4 months old by June 1 (born by Feb. 1). Nursing animals are permitted for exhibition only.	No health papers required. However, you must follow state guidelines.
Horse	Can have 1 horse, unless you meet guidelines in the fair book.	June 1	New Jr. Fair horse exhibitors (since 2004) must attend the mandatory Safety & Ethics meeting April 24 at 6:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church of Mlbg., view 2 videos, read & sign horse resource bk. 191R	All new and returning horse project exhibitors must attend the meeting on April 24 at the United Methodist Church of Millersburg starting at 7:00 p.m.	June 15, 1:00-5:00 June 19, 4:00-7:00 June 27, 1:00-5:00 July 1, 9:00-12:00**	Tuesday, July 25^th at West Holmes High School.
